Showing all 3 items. There are four to five versions of this film: The approximately 3 hour version director Mann delivered to the studio in that was rejected and sent back for re-cut. The minute Theatrical Release version shown om theaters in and on VHS. The minute TV version shown by CBS with an added battle scene. I just wish that in the case of "Last of the Mohicans" since that is the ONLY version on DVD, they would have spent the money to clean it up and have those transitions be as seamless as possible. At least with "Manhunter" (and many other DVDs with unfinished shots merged in) you can buy the clean theatrical cut and have the choice for which one. The Last of the Mohicans has been one of my favorite films since childhood, and the theatrical version is the way I will always remember that film. It is simply impossible to find a good quality copy of the theatrical release, so I was very glad when I came across your project to restore this film.
